Just in time for Xmas, KLM Images has published a photo essay on the meet of the Old Dominion Hounds at Henchman’s Lea in Hume, VA on 11/26.

The location offers both marvelous views and splendid hospitality, and a fox came along near the end in full view of the meet.  I wonder how our hosts arranged that?

As a bonus, the hunt came through our place (Payne Woods) last Tuesday from the meet at Houyhnhnm.  I, alas, was at work, but my husband David snapped a few shots of the hounds putting one of our very own foxes to ground just above the house.  You can find that essay fragment here.
